Fancy Sauce launches this summer
Michigan-made Fancy Sauce, which bills itself as the first fresh condiment line, will hit the market this summer.
Its products contain no preservatives or high fructose corn syrup and has a shelf life of six months. It will be available for online purchase, including Amazon, on June 1 and in the deli section of independent grocery chains by mid-June.
Co-owned by John Latella, former CEO of Garden Fresh Salsa Co. Inc., Paolo Franzese, CEO and co-founder of Franzese USA Inc., Chef Robert Mayer and a silent partner, the condiment company will use the new Great Lakes HPP Food Innovation Center in Taylor for production.
